Millennial Farm, instructor: Jeffry Burchard. A 30,000 sq. ft club for millennials; Boston, MA.

The farm is for living, gathering, socializing, and buying/selling; clean spaces are salubrious, sealed, naive to their surroundings. Interstitial messy spaces are pungent and visceral.

Window geometries determine the interaction of public and private, inside and out. They are formed through the operation of a rotated and sheared cube interacting with a poche of varying depth.

Trusses for circulation suspend private rooms over open plan production spaces; they match the holistic arrangement of trapezoidal profiles that define the building’s facade.
